USA Basketball Fantasy Camp Set for August 7-10 in Las Vegas

The USA Basketball Fantasy Camp is returning to the world-class Wynn Las Vegas Resort Aug. 7-10. This unique event is designed for adults and offers participants the opportunity to live three days in the life of a USA Basketball Team member, experiencing what it’s like to prepare, train, dress, and work out like members of USA Basketball’s National Team. Both playing and coaching packages are available.

This year’s attendees will have the opportunity to receive coaching and instruction from many of the game’s top coaches and personalities. Past coaches have included John Calipari, PJ Carlesimo, Geno Auriemma, Jay Bilas, Billy Donovan, Jay Wright and Brad Stevens, among others. There will be unique opportunities to attend networking and social functions at The Wynn Las Vegas Resort. All participants will also have exclusive access to watch sessions of the USA Basketball National Team minicamp and attend a dinner and cocktail party with the Men’s National Team.

Behind a MVP performance by JBM (19.5 ppg., 7.0 apg.) in the finals, the USA earned a pair of hard-fought games in the best-of-three grand finals to claim a 2-0 lead over Dominican Republic and earn the FIBA Esports Open II North and Central America Conference championship

The inaugural USA E-Team was selected on Nov. 9, has been practicing and scrimmaging at least five days a week since then and is ready for the competition to begin.

The USA Basketball E-National Team, which averaged 85.0 points to its opponents’ 48.0 points per game and finished the first day of competition in the 2020 FIBA Esports Open II North and Central American Conference with a 4-1 record and in a good position to advance to the finals.
