2021 USA Basketball Men's National Team Finalists By The Numbers

With the announcement of the 57 USA Basketball Men's National Team finalists, there's plenty of facts and figures about the roster:

 

Some numbers to note are:

 

 


 

1 - LeBron James is the one and only three-time Olympic medalist (2004 bronze, 2008 and 2012 gold medalist) among txhe group of finalists.

 

2Kevin Durant in 2010 and Kyrie Irving in 2014 were named FIBA World Cup MVPs.

 

3 - Number of bronze medalists from the 2006 USA World Cup Team - Dwight Howard, LeBron James and Chris Paul.

 

3 - Returning gold medalists from the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team - Dwight Howard, LeBron James and Chris Paul.

 

5 - Finalists who won gold with the 2010 USA World Cup Team - Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Eric Gordon, Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook.
