USA Basketball Announces 2022 FIBA 3x3 World Tour & FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Rosters
USA Basketball announced today the rosters for the 2022 USA Basketball FIBA Men’s World Tour and FIBA Women’s Series teams. The teams will compete at select 3x3 events in their respective FIBA circuits throughout the summer and into the fall.
This is USA Basketball’s second consecutive year and third overall assembling a FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series team (2019, 2021) and the first time assembling a FIBA 3x3 Men's World Tour team. The teams were selected by the USA Basketball 3x3 National Team Selection Committee (men’s and women’s, respectively).
For the USA men, Isaiah Brown, Austin Butler, Hassani Gravett, Khalil Iverson, Rodney Pryor, Keaton Wallace and Jared Wilson-Frame comprise the roster. All have previous 3x3 experience, however all seven athletes will be making their first appearance on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour.
The athletes selected all recently competed at the Red Bull USA Basketball 3X Nationals, where they played with USA Basketball select teams to make their 3x3 debuts.
Brown and Wallace competed with Dream Ballerz. Both men have experience in the NBA G League before competing. Brown was most recently a member of the Texas Legends, while Wallace had most recently competed with the Agua Caliente Clippers.
Butler and Iverson played with The Four Friends. Butler played with UNC Charlotte in 2021-22, where he finished second on the team in scoring (12.6 ppg) and first in rebounding (6.0 rpg) in his lone season with the 49ers. Iverson, who will also represent the USA in the 2022 3x3 Men’s World Cup this week in Antwerp, Belgium, has been playing professionally internationally and in the NBA G League since graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 2019.
Gravett, Pryor and Wilson-Frame made their 3x3 debuts at 3X Nationals with Top Shottas. Gravett boasts the most NBA experience of the group, having played with the Orlando Magic in 2021-22 after signing two separate 10-day contracts in December. Wilson-Frame and Pryor arrived on the 3x3 scene after stints playing in the G League, as well. In 2021-22, Wilson-Frame played with the Salt Lake City Stars while Pryor was a member of the Stockton Kings.
The USA Men’s World Tour Team will make their first appearance from July 1 to 2 at the Poitiers Challenger in Poitiers, France. Gravett, Wallace, Brown and Iverson are scheduled to represent the team during the event.
The USA women’s roster includes Joanne Allen-Taylor, Cierra Burdick, Lauren Cox, Linnae Harper, Breanna Richardson and Kayla Wells.
Burdick, a 2015 University of Tennessee graduate, has been a member of several USA Basketball teams (five-on-five and 3x3) since 2009. Most recently, she won a gold medal at the 2021 3x3 AmeriCup. She also owns gold medals from the 2014 FIBA 3x3 World Cup, 2011 FIBA U19 World Cup, 2010 FIBA U17 World Cup and 2009 FIBA Americas U16 Championship.
Like Burdick, Richardson and Harper boast a significant amount of 3x3 experience. Richardson has played at three Women’s Series events since 2021, most notably winning the tournament title at the Klaipeda stop in July 2021.
Harper, who was a teammate of Richardson’s and the tournament MVP in Klaipeda, has been a part of USA Basketball 3x3 competitions since being a member of the 2011 USA 3x3 U18 World Championship Team. She also owns three gold medals in five-on-five competition from the 2013 FIBA U19 World Cup, 2012 FIBA U17 World Cup and 2011 FIBA Americas U16 Championship teams.
Cox previously won gold medals at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship, 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA U16 Americas Championship.
She and Burdick were also selected to the USA Women’s 3x3 World Cup team, who will challenge for gold at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup this week. Playing with Cox and Texafornia at 3X Nationals were Allen-Taylor and Wells. The two hail from Texas and played collegiately in the state before becoming 3X Nationals champions. Allen-Taylor attended Texas from 2018 to 2022, while Wells played at Texas A&M from 2017 to 2022, where she holds the record for most games played by an Aggie.
The USA Women’s World Series Team will make their first appearance at the Women’s Series Poitiers stop in Poitiers, France from June 28 to 29. Breanna Richardson, Cierra Burdick, Linnae Harper and Kayla Wells are slated to represent the team during the event.

USA Basketball previously announced Fran Fraschilla (men) and Jen Rizzotti (women) as coaches for the 3x3 pro teams. For more information, visit usab.com.
Different than five-on-five, 3x3 is played on a half-court with a 10-minute game clock and 12-second shot clock. Play is continuous, as teams “clear” the ball behind the 2-point line following a made basket, defensive rebound or steal. The first team to score 21 points via 1-point field goals or 2-pointers behind the arc is victorious; or if time expires then the team leading wins.
