Tickets On Sale Now for USA Basketball National Team Events
USA Basketball announced today that Cox Pavilion, on the campus of UNLV in Las Vegas, will host the USA Men’s FIBA World Cup Qualifying game against Uruguay on Aug. 25, at 6:00 p.m. PT and a USA Women’s National Team intrasquad Red-White game on Sept. 10 at 1:00 p.m. PT. Tickets for both events are now on sale at UNLVtickets.com and USAB.com/tickets with prices starting as low as $25 (including ticket fees) for general admission, with discounted tickets available for military and students at the box office, and courtside seating for $65 (including ticket fees).

WORLD CUP QUALIFYING GAME INFORMATION
The USA Men (5-1) will host a training camp in Las Vegas prior to the game against Uruguay (4-2) to begin the second round of FIBA Americas World Cup Qualifiers. The two-game August window will see the U.S. travel to Barranquilla, Colombia, for a road contest on Aug. 29.
The U.S. enters the game tied with Brazil at the top of Group F. A total of seven teams from the Americas will advance to the 2023 FIBA World Cup next August in Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines. The fifth window of qualifying is scheduled for November while the sixth and final is set for February 2023. For more information on how teams qualify for the World Cup, click here. The U.S. roster for the August window will be announced at a later date.
The USA will be coached by Jim Boylen, his fourth-straight head coaching assignment for the USA Basketball World Cup Qualifying Team. Joining him on the bench will be assistant coaches Othella Harrington and Ty Ellis.
RED-WHITE GAME INFORMATION
As part of their preparation for the 2022 FIBA World Cup in Australia this fall, athletes invited to the 2022 USA Basketball Women’s National Team training camp will play an intrasquad Red-White game which will be run by the 2021-24 Women’s National Team head coach Cheryl Reeve (Minnesota Lynx) and 2022 World Cup assistant coaches Mike Thibault (Washington Mystics), Kara Lawson (Duke University) and Joni Taylor (Texas A&M University).
Camp invitees and broadcast information will be announced at a later day.
The Red-White game marks the first event of the USA Basketball Showcase Presented by Coinbase. The Showcase will feature a series of events that will help the USA Men’s and Women’s National Teams prepare for major competitions over the next two years, including the 2022 World Cup (women), 2023 World Cup (men) and 2024 Olympic Summer Games.
The 2022 FIBA World Cup, featuring 12 of the best national teams in the world, is scheduled for Sept. 22-Oct. 1 in Sydney. The USA will look to win its fourth consecutive World Cup dating back to 2010. As part of Group A, the U.S. will start pool play Sept. 22 vs. Belgium. For more information, click here.
