USA Wins Two on Saturday at FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Final
The United States got off to a solid start with an undefeated Saturday at the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Final in Constanta, Romania.
In the opener, the United States opened up a 14-5 lead, before Spain pulled within four, 14-10. The Red, White and Blue went on to win the game 16-12. Linnae Harper led the Americans in scoring with seven points and Lauren Cox pulled down a team-best 11 boards.

The Americans jumped on Dusseldorf Zoos from the start, building a nine-point lead midway through the game behind strong defense. The U.S. had the most blocks of any team entering the Final. The United States scored the game’s final five points to seal an undefeated day.
All four Americans scored at least five points, with Cox leading the way with seven. Cierra Burdick tallied eight rebounds.

The United States will have its final pool play against Germany on Sunday morning at 8:40 a.m. ET. The knockout round will also take place on Sunday.
