USA Basketball spoke to head men’s basketball coach at Kansas State University, Bruce Weber, to gain some insight and perspective on coaching.

The USA Men’s & Women's U19 World Cup Teams and the USA Men’s 3x3 World Cup Team share the USA Basketball Team of the Year award.

The experienced college coach got the chance to lead the U19 men as they won the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup.

After each led USA teams to perfect records and gold medals in FIBA U19 World Cup play, Jeff Walz and Bruce Weber are co-recipients of the award.

Kansas State men’s basketball coach Bruce Weber will lead the USA men into the FIBA U19 World Cup in Greece in June and July.
