The USOPC announced the finalists for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame, Class of 2022, and the 1996 U.S. Olympic Women’s Basketball Team and Dawn Staley are among the finalists in the team and individual category, respectively.

Point guard Jennifer Azzi wore No. 8 across her chest as she led the USA to a gold medal during the 1996 Olympics. Recently, Azzi Fudd, who is named in her honor, who the same No. 8 at the FIBA U19 World Cup.
