Dreams turned to reality for 60 of the world's top basketball players on Thursday, thanks to the NBA Draft. But, 12 of the USA's top 19-and-under athletes had a memorable day, as well.

Six athletes with international experience, including three who helped the USA qualify for the 2017 FIBA U19 World Cup, were among 12 of the nation’s top 19-and-under male basketball players named today to the 2017 USA Basketball Men’s U19 World Cup Team.

Following four training sessions that featured 27 of the nation’s top 19-and-under male basketball players, 18 finalists for the 2017 USA Basketball Men’s U19 World Cup Team were announced.

Gold medalist Jordan Brown (Woodcreek H.S./Roseville, Calif.) was added to the 2017 USA Men’s U19 National Team training camp roster.

Twenty-eight of the nation’s top 19-and-unders have accepted invitations to attend the 2017 USA Basketball Men’s U19 World Cup Team training camp.

The Nike Hoop Summit quickly separated itself from other high school all-star games and was tagged as a legitimate international competition that features the very best high school senior players in the United States and the top 19 year old and younger players from around the world.
