White led the men’s U17 team to a sixth straight World Cup win earlier this year.

Along with USA men’s U16 coaches Sharman White, Eric Flannery and Steve Turner, court coaches at the May JNT minicamp will be Dom Amorosa and Scott Fitch.

USA Basketball spoke with current boys basketball high school coach and eight-time USA Basketball coach Sharman White to gain some insight and perspective on coaching.

The coaching staff will lead the USA against the World Select Team in the Nike Hoop Summit on Friday, April 10 in Portland, Oregon.

Sharman White has been named head coach of the 2022 USA Basketball Men’s U17 World Cup Team, which is set to compete at the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup July 2-10 in Malaga, Spain. White will be assisted by Eric Flannery and Steve Turner.
