USA Basketball took part in an inaugural U24 Four Nations Tournament for college-aged women athletes in 2017 in Japan. The 2017 U4 Four Nations Tournament, which  included the Australia, Canada, Japan and USA, was a round-robin tournament played at Katayanagi Arena in Tokyo. Athletes eligible for this team must be U.S. citizens,  and who at the time of the event were 23 years old or younger and freshmen, sophomores or juniors in college.
