LICENSE TERMS & AGREEMENT

By accepting to proceed with an application for a USA Basketball Coach License, and to maintain the license or otherwise risk suspension or license forfeiture, I agree to:

  • Abide and be bound by the USA Basketball Constitution found here, and as it may be updated from time to time by USA Basketball;
  • Abide and be bound by the USA Basketball SafeSport Handbook found here, and as it may be updated from time to time by USA Basketball;
  • Abide and be bound by the rules, policies and procedures promulgated by the U.S. Center for SafeSport found here, and as they may be updated from time to time by the U.S. Center for SafeSport;
  • Submit to ongoing eligibility reviews according to USA Basketball’s rules, policies, and procedures;
  • Abide and be bound by the USA Basketball Coach License background screen criteria found here, and as it may be updated from time to time by USA Basketball;
  • Uphold and comply with the USA Basketball Coach Code of Conduct found here, and as it may be updated from time to time by USA Basketball;
  • Abide and be bound by all other rules, policies, and procedures of USA Basketball;
  • Abide and be bound by the refund policy set forth by USA Basketball, which states that no refunds will be issued once licensing components have been started;

I further understand and agree that, as part of applying for and maintaining a USA Basketball Coach License, I am subject to a background screen, and that information about me revealed in the background screen process may be shared within USA Basketball, with the USA Basketball Background Screen Appeals Panel (in the event of a proper appeal), with the U.S. Center for SafeSport, or otherwise pursuant to USA Basketball’s rules, policies, and procedures.
