Organization Accreditation - Process

Step 1: Select ORGANIZATION REGISTRATION, create your account and select your organization size at community.usab.com.

Step 2: Choose what type of license (Gold or Associate) you will require the organization’s coaches and staff to obtain. Coaches may opt for a higher license type than what is required.

Step 3: Enter organization details and submit your information.*

*USA Basketball will now need to approve your organization account. You will receive an email once your account is approved.

Step 4: On your dashboard, select the MY COACHES bubble and invite your coaches and staff to become licensed.*

*NOTE: coaches will receive your invite once your account is USA Basketball approved.

Step 5: Upload proof of insurance listing USA Basketball as an additional insured.

Step 6: On your dashboard, once all of your coaches and staff are licensed and you have uploaded insurance proof, select the INITIATE ACCREDITATION bubble.

Step 7: Once you have completed requirements, select the ACCREDITATION FEE bubble to pay season accreditation fees, if applicable.

  • 1-10 coaches & staff: $250

  • 11-40 coaches & staff: $100

  • 41 or more coaches & staff: No fee

Once you have completed all steps, you will become an Official USA Basketball Youth Development Organization and will receive the benefits associated with accreditation.

The USA Basketball Organization Accreditation expires August 31 each season.
