Saturday, June 17

  • 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Camp check-in and gear distribution
  • 1:15 p.m - 8:00 p.m. - On and off-court camp sessions
    *Dinner provided by USA Basketball

Sunday, June 18

  • 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  - On and off-court camp sessions
    *Lunch provided by USA Basketball

ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY

Participation is limited to athletes based on the eligibility criteria below:

  • Rising 7th, 8th, and 9th Grades for the 2023-24 school year.
  • Athletes must have been enrolled in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade as of October 1, 2022, of the 2022-2023 school year.
  • Athletes cannot be older than 16 at time of camp.

APPLICATION MATERIALS

Before clicking the REGISTER button above, be sure to have the below materials available and ready to upload:

  • A medical physical from the previous school year.
  • Official documentation of athlete’s birth certificate.
  • Official documentation of athlete’s most recent report card.
  • Letter of recommendation from an adult coach or teacher describing athlete’s character traits, athletic ability, commitment to academics and any additional information.
  • A 1-3 minute link to game footage or training session that demonstrates advanced skills or a list of athlete's accomplishments.

CAMP STRUCTURE AND FEATURES

The primary goals of Gold Camps are skill development and individual improvement in a competitive setting.  Athletes also undergo off-court leadership sessions and every camp includes a parent’s session to teach the USA Basketball culture and national team structure. Standard camps features:

  • One and a half day camp curriculum
  • On-court station work and group drills
  • Small-sided and 3x3 competition
  • 5x5 officiated games
  • Off-court education sessions
  • Parent/guardian session
  • One meal (either lunch or dinner depending on camp hours)
  • USA Basketball shorts, jersey and backpack

AREA ACCOMMODATIONS

Athletes will be responsible for transportation to and from the gym, lodging, registration fee once accepted, all clothing and basketball shoes (jersey and shorts provided by USA Basketball). A list of area accommodations are below:
