USA Basketball Alliance Tournaments

The goal of the U.S. Open Basketball Championships is to help bring structure, authenticity, standards and quality to the club team environment in a fun, competitive and safe setting. The U.S. Open Basketball Championships will incorporate youth basketball guidelines established by joint working groups developed by USA Basketball and the NBA, which can be found here.

To help amplify these standards, USA Basketball has created a tournament alliance to recognize and promote events that serve as pathways to the U.S. Open Basketball Championships.

USA Basketball Alliance Tournaments serve as an avenue for teams to play in the U.S. Open Basketball Championships for 9th and 10th grade teams. All tournaments leading up to the 2019 U.S. Open Basketball Championships have concluded. More information on applying to host an alliance tournament for next year will be announced soon!
