Teams must play their way into the 9th and 10th grade divisions of the 2023 U.S. Open Basketball Championships by placing in Official Qualifiers or by receiving a limited wildcard bid.

Wildcard bids provide an opportunity to teams not placing at 2023 Official Qualifiers or unable to travel to qualifier locations.

WILDCARD BID PROCESS

A USA Basketball selection panel will evaluate team performances to award the final bids to teams not yet qualified through 2023 Official Qualifiers.  
 
Teams may submit an optional, online wildcard consideration form below to place their team details, roster, schedule, and accomplishments before the selection panel for review.

Wildcard invitations will begin to go out to selected teams in May and teams will have one week to accept their bid.
