Q - What are Gold Camps?
A - The Boys Gold Camp and Girls Gold Camp focus on enhanced skill development for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls based on the USA Basketball Player Development Model. Sessions emphasize basketball fundamentals and progressive development through station work, group drills and competition.
Q - Are Gold Camps different than Regional Camps?
A - Gold Camps utilize the USA Basketball Player Development Model which consists of four levels of development: Introductory, Foundational, Advanced and Performance. Gold Camps are designed for athletes who demonstrate skills in line with the Advanced level and who are interested in pursuing higher levels of competition.
Q- Are Gold Camps a part of USA National Team trials?
A- The primary goals of Gold Camps are skill development and individual improvement in a competitive setting. They are not a part of USA National Team trials; however, if talent is recognized as USA National Team quality, it could result in an invitation to a future trials from USA Basketball.

A - USA Basketball will select the staff to serve as court coaches at Gold Camps. All coaches will possess a USA Basketball Coach License.
